CNC Operator / CAM Programmer – Space Sector

Job description

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run. You will be responsible for CNC machining and CAM programming of critical aerospace parts, including brackets, valve subcomponents, and composite structures. From 3D models, you’ll generate toolpaths in HyperMill, prepare setups, and run machining operations on multi-brand 5-axis machining centers and CNC lathes. You will work on flight-grade materials such as Inconel, titanium, and composite blocks. A part of the position is also to program and operate the WEDM machine for additive manufacturing post-processing and when part geometries require it. English capacity for exchange with other teams is expected, as our work environment is international.
