Benefits Post training, salary range for Shift Work is $92,677 - $102,092 pa + super. Annual salary increase within this range in accordance with the Correctional Officers Agreement 2023 . During training (13 weeks), salary is $66,520 pa + 12% super. In addition to salary + super, Correctional Officers attract: A 4 week leave block at the end of each 26 week period Access to purchased leave, leave without pay, State Service accumulated leave scheme. Access to salary sacrifice and salary packaging Regular paid training days, career progression opportunities across Tasmania Uniform provided via points system. Experienced Correctional Officers may be eligible for recognition of service including above base salary on commencement and reduced training requirements. Correctional Officers work 76.0 hours per fortnight, on a fully rotational roster. This includes day and night shifts, public holidays and weekends.
