JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is designed to be an integral part of a team ensuring timely package and shipment of parts manufactured within the Rockford facility. REPORTING TO: Shipping and Receiving Supervisor: ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Tumble, inspect, weigh and package parts for shipment. - Support the shipment of parts and the received parts and supplies to be used in or to aid in the production of product for sale to our customer base. - Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to quality and supply chain. - Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow safety regulations. Other duties as assigned. - Print labels, operate a tow motor, assist in inventory management. SKILLS and ABILITIES: - Ability to perform, but not limited to, the following tasks: be familiar with and able to interpret job travelers, enter into the computer the correct information. - Must be familiar with proper packaging methods and able to interpret visual aids used to convey specific packaging requirements.
