What’s the role?: This role is accountable for leading and enhancing the DDAI division’s risk governance and oversight, ensuring non‑financial risks are effectively managed in line with Westpac’s Risk Management Framework. The role exists to embed strong risk culture, consistent governance practices, and effective risk monitoring across DDAI, enabling the division to meet its strategic objectives while satisfying regulatory and compliance obligations. The role ensures the Divisional risk profile is proactively managed within appetite, including value chains and obligations, and that governance forums operate effectively. Acting as a key interface between DDAI and central risk functions, the role translates enterprise‑wide risk initiatives and regulatory requirements into practical divisional actions and sustainable improvements.
