Summary of Essential Functions: - Create an atmosphere conducive to modern healthcare delivery through timely and effective Biomedical screening, emergency repair, service repair and preventive maintenance. - Performs all forms and levels of equipment preventive and corrective maintenance of medical, non-medical and hospital equipment. - Provide in-service support for medical personnel and staff. - Must have advanced working knowledge of hand tools and test equipment necessary for maintenance operations. Educational Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent. - Associate level degree in recognized Military or Civilian Biomedical Maintenance Program. - Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Certification/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Individuals must be able to develop interlinking rapport with doctors, medical and support staff to ensure the development of an atmosphere advantageous to quality patient care. - Extended level of knowledge and education of Biomedical repair regulatory requirements. - Extensive computer literacy and knowledge of medical equipment management software programs. - Must have current class “C” driver’s licen...
