Job description

Job Purpose and Requirements To provide general warehouse and equipment processing services to corporate pool warehouse operations. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics - Fill district orders for equipment and accessories. - Prioritize orders to ensure customers’ “need by” dates are met. - Pack and ship equipment to meet customer requests and minimize costs and damage. - Select carrier and service level to meet district requests and minimize costs. - Pack and ship equipment to meet carrier’s requirements and district’s facilities, (including crates, pallets, and boxes) and minimize shipping damage. - Complete required shipping documents and/or computer entry. - Contact carrier to arrange pick-up and delivery. - Trace lost or delayed shipments. - Support districts with inbound shipping by providing packing advice and selecting and scheduling carriers. - Check incoming shipments against packing slip and note damaged and/or missing goods.
