Job description

Summary/Objective Reporting to the Tax Director, the Tax Manager I is responsible for serving as a leader in the tax department and ensuring accurate and timely processing of tax returns for the Firm by completing a final review of all returns, a detail review of some returns, managing workflow, and assisting the Senior Tax Managers and/or Tax Manager II and planning teams as needed. Essential Functions: Manage the daily workflow of tasks for their assigned clients Complete final review of all tax returns and detail reviews of some tax returns prior to sending to planning team and/or client Oversee assigned Tax Admin Specialist for team Provide weekly updates to the Senior Manager and/or Tax Manager II regarding overall performance Responsibilities and Duties: Work closely with Senior Tax Managers and/or Tax Manager II to prepare for each tax season Work closely with Tax Seniors, Tax Manager II and/or Senior Tax Managers to address questions/concerns from the planning teams Partner with Planners to ensure a seamless workflow between departments Create and present tax training materials alongside Tax Manager II, Senior Tax Managers and Senior Tax Research Manager Work closely with S...
