K+S Services, a SunSource Company, the industry leader in manufacturing equipment repair is seeking a Servo Motor Repair Technician for their Oakville, Ontario facility. This position entails several essential responsibilities. Must be experienced with the disassembly, inspection, reassembly, and testing of AC/DC and servo motors. Additional experience with feedback devices and motor drives preferred. This position will require the candidate to possess strong problem-solving skills, troubleshooting abilities, familiar with the operation of test equipment used in the inspection and repair process. Responsibilities will include: - Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, evaluation, final assembly and final testing of repair parts. - Prepare failure analysis report for each component assembly; prepare test report once final testing is complete. - Assist in researching parts and suppliers. - Assist in identifying and maintaining spare parts inventory to meet the customer’s needs.
