Description I. INTRODUCTION: A. This position is hybrid and is located at Raleigh Radiology’s Business Support Office (Admin) location. B. The Revenue Cycle Analyst generates revenue cycle reporting and analytics used to monitor and optimize revenue cycle operational metrics and cash flow targets. II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Analysis and Reporting a) Responsible for performing analysis of key revenue performance metrics. b) Develop report templates for ad-hoc and or standard monthly reports to assist with monitoring of revenue cycle metrics. c) Monitor company performance and compare to industry benchmarks. d) Applies knowledge of coding including use of billable CPTs, diagnosis codes, modifiers, to perform an in-depth analysis of root cause analysis. e) Use data to identify trends and gaps. f) Use dashboards and reports to monitor key performance metrics. g) Assist with preparing management and board slides. h) Serve as liaison between Raleigh Radiology and third-party billing vendor. i) Ensure accuracy of charge capture, claims submission, follow-up, denials, and underpayment management. j) Cultivates effective collaborative relationships with the functional departm...
