Inventory Control Coordinator

The Opportunity: Avantor is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator for our Bridgeport, NJ facility. This position is a Monday - Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule. The ICC, executes day-to-day inventory objectives by following a varied set of procedures related to stock accuracy, inventory reconciliation, material movements, and system updates. Addresses unexpected inventory shortages, mismatched records, or urgent fulfillment issues. Communicates with both internal teams, such as warehouse operations, procurement, and production, and external contacts, like suppliers or partners, to obtain or provide inventory-related information often requiring explaining data discrepancies, clarifying inventory availability, or coordinating adjustments across systems or departments to maintain inventory integrity and support operational continuity. What we’re looking for: High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a similar position preferred.
