Trailer Inspector - Mid shift

Overview Prime, Inc. is looking for a hard-working, positive individual to contribute to the success of Prime by keeping truck and trailer equipment up to the company's high standards. This position will inspect, maintain, and make minor repairs/adjustments to tractors and trailers. It will be a mid-shift position. Responsibilities: - Inspect units entering and exiting the yard to ensure the mechanical compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements. - Inspect tires, lights, and other exterior components for safe operating conditions. - Repairs, replaces, and adjusts malfunctioning equipment to restore operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals. - Ensures the timely and authorized movement of equipment. - Refuels equipment as required. - Tracks and accounts for all Fuel and Inspection Bay inventory.
