The Prep Room Manager (Embalming Supervisor) is responsible for the overall supervision of the location’s embalming needs as well as the preparation and presentation of the decedent to ensure the expectations of our client families and their guests are exceeded. Compensation: $35+ per hour: Job Type : Full-Time: Location: Oakmont Mortuary located in Lafayette, California. Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; some college or college degree preferred. 5 years of experience as a licensed Embalmer. 2 years of leadership experience Valid Embalmer’s license – dual licensed preferred; and Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record.
