Job Summary The Adjunct for the College of Education Clinical Experiences plays a role in teaching and supervising students during their placements. This position requires excellence in instruction, mentorship, and collaboration with both university and school site personnel. Adjunct Faculty are expected to be responsive to changing professional needs, committed to innovative instruction, and dedicated to student success. Job Description: Typical duties include but are not limited to: - Supervise teacher candidates during their field placements, acting as a liaison between the school site and the University. - Serve as both an advocate and evaluator for the candidate, sharing responsibilities with the cooperating teacher. - Conduct regular meetings with both the teacher candidate and cooperating teacher to monitor progress and ensure program efficacy. - Make formal observations throughout the semester, providing formative feedback and suggestions for improvement.
