Responsibilities Peraton is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Engineer to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals. This position will support the Operations and Solutions Delivery Support (OSDSS) to DHS ICE. The selected candidate will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT and telecommunications initiatives in a mission critical environment. This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced federal setting. The Telecommunications Engineer will provide support in the translation of business requirements into telecommunications (e.g., LAN, MAN, WAN, Voice and Video) requirements, design, orders, and administration. Provides in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives (VoIP, Cloud Hosted Solution) for government agencies in support of their strategic modernization efforts and telecommunications enhancement design for medium and large-scale telecommunication infrastructures.
