If you have additional questions, contact recruiter at: Brittany.Ranos@hshs.org HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our General Surgery team in Springfield, IL based at HSHS St. John’s Hospital. This APP will work alongside a team of four surgeons and will go with them to the OR as their primary first assist. This APP will also assist with outpatient follow-up appointments and inpatient rounds when they are not in the OR. Position Details: - Monday - Friday weekly schedule with an option of a 4 day work week - Weekly schedule will be a mix of OR time, clinic time, and inpatient coverage - The clinic is on the hospital campus and is attached to the main hospital to easily access the OR and the inpatient floors from the outpatient clinic and provider office. - After hours clinic call required, which consists of phone call only with no obligation to come onsite after hours if a call is received. - EPIC EMR in both the inpatient and outpatient setting Position Requirements: *Please note, any APRN considered for the position must have a First Assist Certification. - Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start - Board Certified as a...
