Job description

The engineering lead, gas distribution engineering provides highly technical engineering services and direction for individuals within gas distribution engineering. Responsibilities include planning and setting work objectives for others, providing complex technical solutions for distribution projects, and providing project management oversight in terms of planning, budgeting, designing, and construction of gas distribution facilities. Provides leadership, manages resources and provides capital budget support. Provide advanced engineering services for the planning, design, and construction of gas distribution projects. Directs, coordinates, and reviews work activities and work product of engineers and engineering technicians. Provide technical project management for all phases of a project including design, estimates, engineering specifications, drawings, materials procurement, construction contracts, scheduling, cost tracking and project cost projections. Provide interpretation and consistency in the application of the company's tariffs and policies concerning the extension, relocation and removal of the company's gas distribution facilities.
