If so, as our experienced Accounting Manager you will: - Manage the full accounting cycle, including daily operations of the accounting department. - Oversee the posting and maintenance of general ledger accounts and accounts payable. - Head the financial close process and verify that all reconciliations are accurate. - Prepare and review journal entries. - Prepare and review quarterly financial statements. - Coordinate with external accountants and auditors during the annual audit process. - Manage monthly sales/use tax returns & annual property tax returns. - Maintain lease agreements and properly account for the leases under the new 842 standard. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP, tax laws, and other regulations). - Effectively utilize IT systems to improve the efficiency of the accounting department. - Maintain and establish positive relationships between company and vendors. - Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff and support training ini...
