Overview : Control Room Operator, Entry Level, assists in monitoring the operation of the gas compressor fleet to ensure smooth operation. Under the guidance of experienced operators, learn how to monitor equipment performance, identify potential issues, and support the efficient and safe operation of gas compressors. Essential Duties: Non-Essential Duties: Performs other duties assigned by supervisor. All employees shall comply with the Archrock Health, Safety, and Environmental Policy and local, statutory, and/or regulatory requirements at all times. - Work alongside senior operators to learn to use control room systems (SCADA, GPS, etc.) to monitor gas compressor performance and operating parameters. - Assist in identifying potential issues or abnormal equipment behavior and report findings to more experienced operators for further action. - Support the maintenance of accurate records, including equipment readings, alarms, and actions taken. Help generate shift reports and update operational logs as needed. - Answering phone calls from customers for call-outs and assistance.
