Job Description: Performs park facility operations work in the County’s parks and natural resource areas. The work involves providing visitor and group services, park maintenance, repairs, and enforcement of park rules and regulations. The work requires prior experience. Workers report to a Park Manager/Site Manager. Essential Job Functions: Responsible for daily park operations: Opens and closes park, performs trash pick-up and removal, collects and accounts for fees, cares for animals, ensures that services are open and ready for visitors. Provides information to visitors. Assigns work to park aides or other summer staff. Enforces park rules and regulations. Responds to complaints, incidents and injuries. Performs general maintenance of park facilities and equipment involving grass mowing & trimming, painting, carpentry, cleaning restrooms, and other similar tasks. Maintains daily records.
