Job description

We are currently looking for a Flexographic Printing Press Operator at our Griffin, GA location. Essential Duties and Tasks: - Support and contribute to a healthy and safe work environment by following all workplace regulations, policies, and initiatives, including reporting all first aid injuries, accidents, and workplace hazards. - Operates and directs the operation of a Windmoller & Holscher (W&H) 10-color flexographic printing press to meet current Business Plan Objectives for press utilization, press speed, production efficiency and waste - Organizes work for smooth, efficient, operations; reviews production schedules, manufacturing order information, and other production documentation for completeness and accuracy - Coordinates resolution of production problems and communicates resolutions to team members and plant leadership team - Inspects press production and quality checklist daily; performs on the spot corrections of deficiencies and/or coordinates with maintenance, quality, or other support group for corrective action - Coordinates production and maintenance efforts to increase run time.
