Description The Swedish Institute, College of Health Sciences is hiring Diagnostic Medical Sonography Instructors in the following disciplines: - Abdomen - Obstetrics/Gynecology - Breast, Small Parts, Musculoskeletal and Vascular - Sonographic Physics and Instrumentation - Registry Review Some of the essential duties are as follows: - Teach assigned courses in-person as scheduled in accordance with current department-approved course descriptions, course outlines, syllabi, and procedures. - Assists, as appropriate, in the maintenance of instructional materials. - Employs appropriate assessment techniques to measure student performance in achieving course goals and objectives. - Communicates progress in the course to students and program administration in a timely manner and assists in the identification of students with academic or other needs and responds by utilizing an appropriate resource. - Determines and submits students’ grades on a timely basis in accordance with established college policies and procedures. - Provides feedback, as appropriate, regarding the general operations of the department, and the college. - Attends faculty meetings as called by the President, Dean or P...
