Employment Type: Full time Shift: Day Shift Description: Leads and participates in a small team providing phlebotomy services to patients at a lab site. Ensures adherence to standards and policies. Trains new employees as assigned. Captures data, audits processes and reports selected metrics to management. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Minimum High school diploma: Preferred Phlebotomy Training or Phlebotomy Technical School Credentials/Licensure: Minimum ASCP certification for Phlebotomy (or other accrediting agency), or certification must obtain within 3 months of hire date. Related Experience: Minimum Six months of phlebotomy experience. Preferred One year of phlebotomy experience at MHSM. Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Minimum: Strong interpersonal and clerical skills. Strong customer service skills. Computer Competency: Familiarity with standard desktop and windows-based computer system, including email, e-learning, intranet and computer navigation. Ability to use other software required to perform essential functions.
