Job Description Role Overview: Controls the process, maintains quality standards and ensures continuous improvement of the total blow mold process to include: blow mold and packaging equipment. Shift: 12 hour, 2-2-3 schedule Your Role in Unpacking Possibilities: Key accountabilities and tasks for this role ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Leads the blow mold and packaging team members assigned to the shift and is the first point of contact for operators. - Ensures operations are completed in accordance with Amcor Rigid Plastics USA Inc. safety procedures and ensures team members are working in a safe manner and identifies and corrects unsafe work practices. - Ensures plant quality standards are being met and maintained by the department. - Controls the process of multiple blow mold machines using written work instructions, visual management, and computer interface. - Evaluates and improves operator’s skill level and assist in training operators. - Troubleshoots and performs adjustments to the machines to correct improper functions. - Assists with new machine setups. - Performs preventive maintenance on machines. - Reviews...
