Staff Physical Therapist (Per Diem) - ( 260416-50016924 ) Purpose of Position : Administers rehabilitative and physical therapy services to in and out patients as prescribed by the physician. The therapist will assess, test, treat and evaluate infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients, recognizing age specific differences, and variations in methods used in patient assessment, care and support required for these different age groups. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team in helping to restore function and in preventing disability. Description 1. Must be courteous to patients, visitors and employees. 2. Administers diagnostic testing procedures to determine the extent of patient's impairment and the prognosis for improvement. Identifies pertinent patient problems. (20%)E 3. Sets objective, measurable treatment goals incorporating patient's goal for functional outcome. Establishes a treatment plan based on patient needs and patient family input. (20%)E 4.
