Job Title: Nurse Department: Public Health Reports To: Public Health Director Classification: On Call, Nurse Non-Exempt (hours will vary) Compensation Range: $30 - $35 hourly Position Summary Lake County Public Health Agency (LCPHA), an EOE employer, seeks on-call Public Health Nurses. This position will provide a variety of public health nursing services including assessments and education to ensure the health and welfare of Lake County families and communities. The schedule is on-call/variable and flexible depending on the current needs of the department. This person will provide nursing services to support the immunization program, blood lead program, communicable disease investigations, and general clinical needs of Lake County Public Health Agency. This is a hands-on position with a lot of client interaction. This position will report to the Director and Deputy Director of Lake County Public Health and Environment. This position is funded by Lake County, State of Colorado, and Federal funds. If the funding is reduced or discontinued, this position may be reduced or discontinued.
