Summary: The Environmental Specialist – Waste Management is responsible for planning, directing, and overseeing the Don Plant’s waste management compliance program and ensuring all applicable compliance requirements are satisfied. Ideal candidates will have a strong industrial RCRA compliance background with a focus on continuous improvement and cost efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Promote a culture of safety and environmental stewardship throughout the individuals work in the facility. - Ensure facility compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including RCRA (Resource Conservation and Recovery Act), and applicable asbestos management regulations. - Serve as the primary point of contact for inspections, audits, and regulatory inquiries related to the facility waste programs. - Plan, coordinate, and manage all wa...
