Compensation Range $113,588.80 - $159,036.80 Job Description Summary: Under the overall direction and supervision of the County Attorney, an Assistant County Attorney III will assist in the fulfillment of the statutory obligations of the County Attorney's Office. Primary areas of focus will be providing legal services through advice and representation to the Board of Weld County Commissioners and Weld County departments or affiliated agencies including, but not limited to, Accounting, Assessor, Buildings and Grounds, Extension, Finance and Administration, Clerk and Recorder, Coroner, Human Resources, Health, Human Services, Justice Services, Planning, Public Works, Purchasing, Records, Sheriff, and Treasurer. The Assistant Attorney may appear in local State and Federal courts, as well as administrative hearings as appropriate and perform all aspects of legal work associated with providing competent representation to the County and its departments.
