Senior Inspector Department: Geotechnical: Employment Type: Full Time: Location: Reno, NV: Compensation: $35.75 - $47.00 / hour Description: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full-time Senior Inspector to perform duties related to quality control, construction materials testing, and special inspections. In this role, you will be responsible for performing construction observation, testing, and inspection of various phases of construction which includes but is not limited to mass grading, utility installation, concrete pavement, masonry, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, bolting, and welding. This is a staffed, hourly, non-exempt position. What you will be doing: - Perform construction observation to ensure that work is being performed in accordance with approved plans and specifications. - Conduct special inspections (reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, masonry, etc.) and field-materials testing including soil compaction, concrete strength, and asphalt density testing. - Record and document daily test results and observations and communicate findings with project management team. - Prepare and organize test reports for different phas...
