Job description

Primary Accountability The Floor Supervisor is responsible for smooth patient flow, access, and the direct supervision of the clinical support staff on the floor during daily operations in the health center. Description of Primary Responsibilities: - Provides support and floor supervision to departmental staff. - Serves as a system matter expert and mentor to the team regarding workflows, procedures, and policies. Assists staff with problem resolution and critical thinking. - Provides and/or ensures employees receive instruction/training needed to successfully complete their assigned job responsibilities while ensuring compliance with training plan. - Provides on-the-job training and recommends remediation to managers when necessary. - Recommends workflow and procedure changes based on observations from the floor. - Gives real time feedback and praise while on the floor. - Addresses staff out of compliance with policy (e.g., dress code).
