KAW NATION POSITION DESCRIPTION: TITLE: IT Specialist IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: IT Director CONTROLLING SUPERVISOR: Chair QUALIFICATIONS: Requires an Associates or computer background in related field. Must have experience in Windows applications, configuring and troubleshooting with software and hardware. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills. Pro-active, self-starter requiring minimal supervision. Must possess excellent administrative assistant skills (i.e. computer functions, typing, filing, copying, fax, and telephone systems) Confidentiality is at all times a must. RESPONSIBILITIES: All new hires will be required by the Kaw Nation (post hire) to submit to an employment drug screen and background check. Failure to pass the post hire drug screen or background check will lead to withdrawal of the job offer or termination of employment. - Installing and training of software applications. - Installing, administering, and repairing hardware. - Maintaining office equipment (i.e. copier, printers, fax machines, phone, etc…) - Maintain security at all levels (employee, application, internet) - Assists user to resolve computer-related problems such as inoperative har...
