SUMMARY OF THE ROLE: We have the pleasure to announce a full-time position is available as R&D Manager – Cellulosic Fire Protection Support. The role involves managing SteelMaster support functions and the chemists working in those functions. Responsibilities: Lead the team in line with Leadership Expectations and tools to develop, coach and guide its members to ensure a workforce which is competent, engaged and enabled to meet Jotun’s current and future needs. Manage the development and maintenance of the competence within the team as well as information handling, knowledge/innovation management use and further development of relevant tools and systems. Manage PinS system for SteelMaster products. Demonstrate effective prioritisation in collaboration with category managers. Demonstrate that effective planning ahead is occurring for any external tests that are to occur. Manage Raw Material alternatives with group and local purchasing. Manage customer meetings and events in the lab. Head larger PinS projects, and through planning, co-ordination and follow-up, make sure that the requested goals and required effect are reached within the planned time- and budgetary frames.
