We are searching for a Mechanical Superintendent for Solar Energy Projects. This position is located in the field at the project site. Reports to: Construction Manager: Works closely with: Construction Manager, Site Quality Manager, Owners, Subcontractors, Project Management Team Position Summary: This position that works closely with the Project Management team to assist in managing the mechanical scope for the project. You will assist in assuring that the project is being constructed in accordance to the owner’s contract. Responsibilities/ Duties: - Champion Signal Energy’s CORE Principles on a daily basis. - Reading and interpreting specifications and plans for all mechanical aspects of the project. - Examining and inspecting mechanical work along with meeting with sub-contractors to ensure satisfactory job progress. - Verifying safety and design specifications are met. - Directs mechanical personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications. - Supp...
