Description In partnership with the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, the Early Childhood Education Service Lead will provide coordination and organizational support in the ongoing development and implementation of the Los Angeles Early Childhood Student Advancement Program (ECE-SAP) for a maximum of 900 hours. The ECE Service Lead will connect with diverse communities, manage a caseload of agencies and students, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally. In coordination with CRCD’s Associate Director of Youth Workforce Development, the ECE Service Lead will additionally report, receive daily and/or weekly operational instructions from the Early Childhood Equity Project Coordinator assigned to the Mayor’s Office. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Recruit and match 50 students to Vernon/Central Network (VCN) YouthSource Center and Los Angeles contracted early childhood education internship sites. - Onboard ECE-SAP students and ensure timely start of internship. - Develop agendas, meeting minutes and other materials for the ECE-SAP Work Group. - Create media content for community outreach initiatives (flyers, social media content, etc...
