When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you’re making a difference in people’s lives. The Department of Spiritual Care & Education is seeking a Chaplain for a 30hr opening. This is a full-time benefits-eligible opening located in Boston, MA. The schedule will be three 10hr shifts (8am - 6:30pm), exact schedule TBD but most likely Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Job Description: A chaplain provides non-judgmental spiritual care to BIDMC patients, families, and staff regardless of faith tradition. Chaplains are responsible for: spiritual assessment, timely documentation in the online medical record, communication with other members of the care team, on-call coverage, and occasionally presiding at community events at the medical center. Must have energy for teamwork and outreach. Essential Responsibilities: Provides chaplaincy services to patients and families that address personal, spiritual, emotional, psychosocial issues that patient or family may wish to discuss.
