Company: Allegheny Health Network Job Description: GENERAL OVERVIEW: The VP Physician Network & Business Development is accountable for providing leadership in the development and execution of physician recruitment, acquisition and development strategies which deliver predictable and sustainable growth in membership and margin. The incumbent is accountable for the development of the value proposition supporting Allegheny Health Network within the scope of the marketplace. This individual will ensure that market forces, customer needs and competitive challenges are well understood by the leadership team in an effort to effectively influence the strategic planning process. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform management responsibilities including, but not limited to: involved in hiring and termination decisions, coaching and development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity.
