Department: 36311 AMC Kenosha - MRI Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: We’re looking for an MRI technologist who values teamwork, quality imaging, and patient‑centered care. 2nd Shift, Monday-Friday, 2pm-10:30pm Included in on-call rotation amongst 6-8 techs (weeknights 10:30pm-6:00am, weekend coverage Sat 8pm-8am and Sun 8pm-6am) Included in holiday call rotation (on-call coverage 24hrs) Pay Range: $35.50 - $57.30 Major Responsibilities: - Competently operates magnetic resonance (MR) equipment used to perform basic and intermediate diagnostic procedures. Procedures include routine musculoskeletal, neurological and orthopedic imaging, arthrogram, neurological angiography, body imaging, and small joint imaging. - Obtains medical history from patients, compares requisitions to physician's orders to ensure ordered exam accuracy, and prepares and administers contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist. - Positions patient and selects proper scanning factors, adjusts factors to attain the appropriate images, and provides magnet protection and safety in accordance with regulatory agencies. - Post-processes image...
