Responsibilities This position is responsible for performing whole blood collection in donor centers and mobile sites; conducts donor registration, interviews, draw, and donor care; performs regulated pre- and post-collection functions including storage and transportation of blood; promotes a positive organizational image; designated as essential during severe weather or emergency operations. $2,500.00 Sign On Bonus Available Primary Duties, Responsibilities or Activities Required by the Job - Provide excellent customer service by acknowledging the donor, treating donors in a respectful manner, and striving to provide each donor with a positive and pleasant experience which would encourage their return. - Perform all aspects of whole blood collection as required. - Conduct donor interviews and evaluate donor suitability based on current Standard Operating Procedures and criteria. - Obtain and document donor hemoglobin and vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, weight, and height). - Maintain confidentiality of all donor information. - Perform site preparation, phlebotomy, and discontinuation of whole blood procedures; monitor donor progress and respond promptly to adverse...
