Job description

FlexStaff is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Client, a specialized agency providing comprehensive, individualized services for children with special needs (preschool through grade 12) and support for school districts, located in Suffolk County, NY. The successful candidate will lead functional behavior assessments, develop and implement positive behavior support plans, supervise paraprofessionals, and collaborate with teachers, speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, and family teams to promote meaningful learning and decreased challenging behaviors. Qualifications: - BCBA credential (Board Certified Behavior Analyst) in good standing. - Master’s degree or higher in behavior analysis, psychology, education, or related field. - Eligibility and/or current eligibility for state licensure or certification as required. - Demonstrated experience implementing ABA across school-based settings (preschool–12th grade) and collaborating with districts. - Strong data-analytics skills and proficiency with ABA data collection tools (e.g., multiple data sheets, graphing software). - Knowledge of IDEA, IEP processes, 504 plans, and educational collaboration. - Exc...
