Organization: SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento Position Overview: Supports the overall operation of the surgery department including procedure room preparation, patient transportation, and ensuring cleanliness of the facilities. Oversees for the inventory process, ensuring facilities are well-stocked and orders additional supplies as necessary. Responsible for the maintenance and availability of equipment used in procedures in the Operating Room on a daily basis. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety to help deliver optimal patient care. May also be responsible for performing specific procedures and/or orient other staff to the department. EDUCATION: - HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE: - Department, Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center: DL-Valid Drivers License - Department, Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center: Auto Insurance TYPICAL EXPERIENCE: - 1 year recent relevant experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: - General knowledge of su...
