Description The Radiology Department of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a board certified/eligible, fellowship-trained neuroradiologist, interested in pursuing an academic career. Candidate must have completed a minimum of 1 year of training in an ACGME-accredited neuroradiology fellowship, and be ABR-certified/eligible. (Two years of Neuroradiology Fellowship training is preferred.) Eligibility for Texas medical licensure and its acquisition prior to the start of employment is required. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Divisional duties include interpreting the full range of diagnostic imaging studies, performing image-guided spine procedures and providing consultation to referring physicians. Specific clinical and research interest can be in any area within the scope of neuroradiology. Candidate will be expected to be superior in all aspects of diagnostic neuroradiology and capable of teaching CT, angiography, myelography, and MRI to neuroradiology fellows, Radiology residents, and medical students through didactic lectures and participation in various multidisciplinary conferences.
