Department: 37531 AMC Manitowoc County - Outpatient Rehabilitation: MOB Status: Part time Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 0 Schedule Details/Additional Information: This is a 12-week summer rehab aide position. Ideal candidate is a junior or senior in college enrolled in or soon to be enrolled in a Physical or Occupational Therapy graduate program. Typical schedule is 8 hours per day, five days a week, Monday-Friday. No weekends or holidays. Location may include hours at our Lakeside clinic (1111 Bayshore Dr.) or Dewey St Clinic (3821 Dewey St) in Manitowoc, WI. Looking for start date late May to early June. Pay Range: $19.80 - $29.70 Major Responsibilities: - Transports patients to and from rehabilitation area using standard precautions. - Performs treatment modalities including but not limited to hydrocollator packs, ultrasound, and paraffin. - Assists patients with toileting, ambulation or unskilled exercises as delegated. - Provides hydrotherapy treatment as directed by a therapist including scheduling, patient transfers, treatment clean up.
