XRAY Technologist Part Time

Envision Imaging is seeking a part-time X-Ray Technologist to join our team. Monday - Friday 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM + rotating Saturdays 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM | Position Pay Range $27.29 - $35.18 Summary/Objective: Performs various types of diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusts X-Ray equipment settings, determines proper voltage and exposure and positions patient. Performs specific procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Assists physicians in assigned examination utilizing contrast media and/or specific tomographic examinations. Essential Functions: - Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure and/or exam to obtain the best possible image. - Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. - Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. - Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. - Transfers images to other locations as needed. - Coordinate...
