About the Opportunity JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision of the Associate Athletics Director for Communications, Public Relations & Broadcasting and in conjunction with the goals and vision of the Director of Athletics, this position supports an athletics communications program that successfully promotes Northeastern student-athletes, coaches and athletics in all appropriate venues and that increases both public participation in local, state and national recognition of Northeastern Athletics. RESPONSIBILITIES INLUCDE: Will serve as the primary media contact for at least three teams to promote Northeastern athletes, coaches and sports through game day coverage, social media, photography, statistics and website management. Utilizes social media to tell the stories of Northeastern’s student-athletes, collaborates with video team on creative content and uses Adobe Creative Suite to promote teams. Serves as the secondary media contact for men’s basketball and main athletics social media accounts. Assists full-time staff members with day-to-day office operations.
