Preventive Maintenance Technician

Job description

We are looking for a Preventive Maintenance Technician (PM Tech) for a Friday to Monday shift – a skilled individual that supports our goal in finding a better way. The PM Tech’s primary goal is to ensure the scheduled maintenance is carried out on the manufacturing equipment in a safe and timely fashion. What You Will Do: - Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance and maintaining the preventive maintenance records. - Identify equipment defects noticed during maintenance activities. - Assist the Maintenance Mechanics with repairs when required. - Be willing to take on new challenges and experiences, work well in a collaborative team environment, possess strong communication and organizational skills What We Need: - OSSD or equivalent - Experience in operating basic hand tools - Effective written and oral English communication skills - 2 years previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing operation. - Must be able to show mechanical aptitude with manufacturing equipment in a high paced workplace. - Valid Driver’s License to travel between sites - Must have own tools What We Offer: - Retirement Program - Southmedic will match RRSP contributions in our program that employees can...
