We are accepting applications for this "extended" position through 5/11 @ 9am Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Simplex is required. This is an on-site, long term job. You must be located in Southern California. NO relocation funds, and NO per diem. Location: Los Angeles, CA: Number of positions: 2 Type: Direct Hire Salary Range: $131K - $147K Minimum Requirements: - Two (2) years full-time paid professional experience in construction estimating of facilities or School Construction. - Knowledge of current local construction labor and material costs - Experience in developing and estimating the scope of work for change orders - Ability to compare the independent cost estimate with contractor proposal to identify differences - Ability to develop scope of work based on RFI/RFC answers and estimates the detailed costs of those scopes of work independent of the contractor proposal - Good oral and written communication skills - Fact-find and in-depth skills Required Education: Graduation from a recognized college or university with a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, engineering, or construction management Compensation: The pay range provided...
