Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Payroll Coordinator to support daily payroll operations and help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. This role works closely with the Payroll Manager to process payroll transactions, audit payroll data, maintain compliance with payroll laws and company policies, and provide excellent support to employees across multiple locations. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and confidentiality, and enjoys problem-solving. Responsibilities: Payroll Processing & Auditing: - Assist with the accurate and timely processing and auditing of payroll transactions, including: - Rate changes - Payroll deductions - Shift differentials and premiums - Adjustments - New hires and terminations - Garnishments and child support orders - Review payroll data for accuracy and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations. - Audit and manage employee timecards, breaks, lunches, and timesheet submissions to ensure payroll deadlines are met. - Conduct payroll audits and reconcile reports to validate internal payroll controls and identify discrepancies. - Generate, analyze, and d...
