Fortinet has an exciting opportunity for an intermediate SRE Specialist to join our FortiGuard operation team. We are managing consumer-facing services with high traffic volumes around the world. Service Reliability and Security is our top priority. This is a unique opportunity to join an established team of experienced professionals to work on some of the most innovative technology and network security products on the market. Job Responsibilities: Linux System Administration: - Administer Linux servers across distributions such as Ubuntu, Red Hat, and Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL). Monitoring and Troubleshooting: - Monitor performance metrics of servers, storage, VMs, containers, applications, and network components to ensure optimal operation. Vulnerability and Patch Management: - Apply the latest security updates to the server infrastructure and conduct routine vulnerability scan to proactively identify and address potential security issues. Tracking Security Issues via SOAR: - Leverage SOAR (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response) solution to track, prioritize, and resolve security issues reported by the Security team.
