Job Title : Physician Job Summary: - The Staff Physician provides direct patient care and emergency services in an effort to ensure that patient health care needs are met at all times. Experience, Education, Training, Special Skills, and Licensure: - MD/DO - Board Eligible/Board Certified - Current unrestricted Louisiana Medical License Job Function: - Patient Care - Provides direct patient care in the office and at other locations, develops treatment plans, and assesses patient's response to treatment while ensuring that all health care services provided are of the highest quality. - Provides high quality emergency care to patients on an on-call basis and in rotation with other physicians in an effort to ensure that patient health care needs are met at all times (Industrial Medical Center's Staff Physician does not provide on-call services). - Quality and Performance Improvement - Investigates new techniques, practices, and equipment in an effort to identify ways of maximizing the quality and efficiency of health care services provided to patients. - Assists in the development and implementation of continuous quality improvement programs and participates in multi-disciplinary cont...
