Description Summary/Objective: Sell new and used vehicles. Essential Job Functions: - Greets customer on sales floor and determines make, type, and quality of vehicle desired. - Explains features and demonstrates operation of vehicle in showroom or on road. - Suggests optional equipment for customer to purchase. - Computes and quotes sales price, including tax, trade-in allowance, license fee, and discount, and requirements for financing payment of vehicle on credit. - Prepares sales slip or sales contract. - Receives payment or obtains credit authorization. - Arranges for delivery and registration of vehicle. - Researches availability of models and optional equipment using computer database. - Various other duties as assigned Requirements: Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: - Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments. - Oral Communication - Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; Listens and gets clarification; Responds well to questions; Demonstrates group presentati...
