First Merchants Bank is seeking a Client Relationship Banker to join our team! This full time position will complete goals on individual and team sales metrics for the banking center to achieve the strategic and tactical goals of the company. Serve as a primary point of contact in the banking center for sales and services requests. Exceed personal production goals and deliver a meaningful client experience. Lead new account acquisition activities and participate in outbound calling activities to increase market share. Prospect, generate, process and close consumer loans. Engage with the management team in business banking activities. As part of the role you will: - Provide high quality customer service on a wide variety of general banking matters. - Assess client’s financial position to identify additional relationship opportunities. - Consult with staff on checks for cashing; accept and process stop payment orders. - Assist clients in reconciliation of accounts, answer questions and resolve complaints. - Engage team members and business partners to assist clients with a variety of personal and business banking needs.
